I like the shoutout feature, and I appreciate being able to reward others and recognize the work they’ve done.

It’s helping solve any neglecting issues, I feel like my work is being acknowledged

I like that it is for all employees to recognize each other and not just managers recognizing employees. A small thank you goes a long way! Being able to see other recognitions is a great feature as well!

It’s allowing me to thank my coworkers without going out of my own pocket and I’m able to use points that were already given to me by the company

Nectar creates consistency in celebrating my teammates. It makes it easy to celebrate all of our wins, big and small.

The hashtags are predetermined by leadership, so there's not a ton of variety. But I find that there is usually a hashtag that works perfectly!

I think nectar makes it easy for everyone to be recognized for their good work, not just folks in senior or "big" roles. We can celebrate something in everyone.

We no longer have to collect paper tickets to acknowledge our peers which means we don't have to manually count tickets and we are able to receive our prizes quicker.

The gift card redeem process. It only opens a few windows and happens instantly

Not sure if there’s a night mode toggle but the light sensitivity I have makes it tough to look at a mostly white page. Also sometimes who the shoutout is coming from gets lost in the middle of the shoutout message. I wish that could be as clear as who is getting the shoutout

We have really enjoyed using Nectar! Before Nectar, we used paper “Golden Tickets” as a way for teammates to recognize and thank each other. Moving this process to Nectar has made giving shout-outs so much easier, and our team has really embraced it. One of my favorite features is the ability to connect recognition directly to our company values. It gives us an easy, everyday way to reinforce those values while recognizing teammates for the great things they are doing. Nectar has taken something our team already valued and made it more accessible, engaging, and fun. It’s been a great addition to our company culture!

What do you like best about the product?
I think what I like best about Nectar is for my specific position in the company, which has a lot to do with morale and gaining staff involvement, it allows me the ability to share, send and access so many of those qualities in one place. For example, I can create challenges, give feedback and award people for volunteering all in one place and easily track said information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times on the admin side of it where certain information on peoples profile like their birthday's are hidden, and I find out after their birthday that said information was hidden. I think from an admin perspective it would be helpful to have certain criteria that the employee must allows admin to see, so company purposes. This is a very minor detail, but it has been the only performance issue I have found at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving our particular companies problem of having multiple locations, and originally staff was not able to recognize individuals from other clinic locations, but with Nectar being a digital platform we connect much easier. This keeps the morale up and is easier from my position, where I only work at one clinic, but am now able to thank others outside of my location for their support and performance.

It solves the problem of being able to reward people. For me, the benefit is simple: being rewarded feels great. And when you truly want to reward someone, this makes it possible.
What do you like best about the product?
I had never used Nectar before. Onboarding was very easy and intuitive. As someone who used to work in the HR field I feel that Nectar is a great affordable way to add a benefit and recognition tool all in one. I had always struggled with how to recognize employees in a way that was meaningful, affordable, and enjoyable. Nectar hits all of those boxes. The fact that you can recognize teammates easily is a plus. Being able to log in and create a recognition post with the persons name, what values they represented, and how awesome they are is so easy and saves me hours each week. Also, being able to customize the post with emojis and gifs is great as that helps add character and flair. I haven't had any issues with the software, it's been easy to use and I feel it adds value to my experience as an employee. Looking through the recognition feed makes me proud to be a part of the team and I love when I get a recognition for my hard work. The software is very fast and I haven't had any trouble with performance. I would absolutely recommend Nectar. Nectar integrates well with Teams and Outlook. I like how I can access it directly through either platform. It makes recognizing team members easy and saves me a time!

Nectar is solving the problem of an efficient, affordable way to recognize teammates and achievements. Employees feeling appreciated is very important for company moral. Nectar makes it easy to solve how to give employees a way to recognize each other for the activities, tasks, and accomplishments they do throughout the week, month and year. If i need to give someone a job well done I can log in, create a post, give them a shoutout and some points and I know that they'll feel happy and cared for along with getting something fun. It's a win win for me and the company.

I wish I had more monthly points to send to my coworkers. That said, I understand this is a company policy decision and not something controlled by Nectar.

There honestly isn’t much I dislike about Nectar. If I had to pick something, it can sometimes be a little difficult to keep track of your points balance or remember to actually redeem rewards if you aren’t logging into the platform regularly

I don't like how the virtual Visa/Master cards have a hard time being accepted by my phone's wallet (Wallet App). However I believe that is an issue with the card provider and not so much Nectar itself.

Nectar helps by giving me a way to earn credits that I would spend on products I need for my daily routines. (Example, gift cards that can be used for restaurants or shopping)

It encourages positive feedback in a natural and effective way, which fosters friendship at work and helps with my motivation. I like how it integrates with Slack so that I don't miss it

Sometimes it feels a little silly to be like "hey here's a small amount of money" when giving people points, but if I focus less on the points and more on the thanks and the fact that the points are a limited resource, I feel better about it

I really enjoy how easy it is to shout out teammates and earn points. The best part is being able to redeem a gift card to basically anywhere you want, and it really helps sometimes in between checks. It’s also really nice to have something like your dinner paid for once you’ve saved up enough points.

Honestly, I can’t say there’s anything I dislike about it. It’s really beneficial, especially when you’re active on it.
