It's easy-to-use, gives us the answers we need faster, thanks to its outstanding content playground, real-time updates, generative AI, expert insights and product experts. No more uncertainty!
What do you dislike about the product?
As its still relatively new, it's collaboration and visualization tools are limited. It's filters don't work that well too. But good thing the platform has a responsive team which helps us with such challenges. It will get better.

The Platform has become useful to us with its reliable and very extensive and premium content/data. Makes our search for fast answers and market intelligence absolutely a breeze. It's increasingly becoming an app we rely on to make strategic decisions driven by rich daya that are enabling us stay ahead of competition.
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like the clear layout and user interface. The workspace and results panels are clearly deliniated and which function works in which panel is easy to understand. The partnership with our AlphaSense team, product specialist/customer success Catalina Ruiz-Jimenez is currently our key person to go to - invaluable support and guidance/suggestions. I don't think there is a feature that is missing. My internal clients really like the ability to export charts and tables in excel format. Being able to share a summary pdf with another user that has AlphaSense account is a very efficient and powerful feature. I use AlphaSense - every day and throughout the day not just once.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more control on my user prefernces and keep them 'turned on' . I am always unchecking the default formats for downloading (I am never going to want the snippet highlighted) and I am never going to want the sentiments on in the output report. In my position that creates bias. I understand the value of the feature and appreciate it but I won't be using it. So I'd like to not have to turn it off each time. Also the default so all company mentions vs only primary mentions. I'd like to be forcused first then go broader if necessary but the default is all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining our competitive advantage. Competitive Intelligence. Very timely, real time information. We are watching competitors activities and analysts views on specific assests (ours and the competition) and the broader market areas.

I still feel like the search is clunky. Unless I know what I want to search for, its very keyword specific.

alphasense allows me to aggregate and search documents that I would otherwise have to spend at least 5 min getting access to. It is very nice to pivot between documents

Its is beneficial for our investor relations group and our SEC reporting team - they use it frequently, the information returned is on point and fast. Excellent tool for them.

As an infrequent user, I'm often stifled by the complexity. Its not Google, Chrome or Edge. One must be familiar with how to ask/prompt for searches. It does get easier the more you use it, but for me, its difficult and I dont have the time to waste when I need an answer - therfore, I delegate to my SEC reporting team.

The software is fantastic for returning massive amounts of data. Frequent users love it. Infrequent users, like myself struggle - but its still effective (its a me "prompting" problem, not the software)

One of the best thing with Alpha Sense is the research bar, that enables to get results on companies, markets, research studies, etc. Additionnaly, the customer service is available and helpful.

A downside using AlphaSense is the limit of the number of pages you can download.

Alpha Sense gives access to relevant market intelligence and companies informations. This is much quicker and there is more information than searching Google.

AlphaSense has equipped its platform with AI and data-led insights. There's a lot of flexibility in the tool if you want to deep-dive into a particular topic. It can scan across transcripts, competitors, news flow to create a crisp summary. It helps you digest the key ideas or themes. You can explore in detail. Sometimes I just use it to do a keyword search and let the tool work its magic to take me to unexplored topics! In summary, I like the tool's: 1. Simple and intuitive user interface. 2. Comprehensive research coverage with premium broker reports 3. AI integration - helps in accessing and digesting all the materials 4. Data-driven approach - generate frequency graphs by topic of mentions and deeper dive based on interest.

I guess it's the pricing. I don't have the details but my organization cut down on Alphasense seats due to exorbitant pricing. Sometimes, you might find it difficult to find the 'filters' section. AI features can be further improved. For example, when creating AI summaries, it repeatedly refers only a few set of reports. Customer supprt is not as efficient as I might want. It might take days to address your concerns.

I need to find the right information quickly to inform my consulting assignments. It does that job beutifully. It can search across company transcripts and filings, research reports, news items to surface the right content in a few clicks.

The AlphaSense search function was the greatest differentiator. With other tools, I spent so much time searching and never found as much information as I did with AlphaSense…and the best part is, with AlphaSense, I found it in half the time.
You can get event transcripts anywhere, but the speed at which we get them through AlphaSense is astronomical, and it saves us so much time. While we could have purchased these reports and insights from somewhere else, it would have cost us much more in the long run. By subscribing to AlphaSense, we get it all in one place.
