Real time insights from various stakeholders. Access to extensive broker reports and a smart browser for easy navigation. It saves time and provides high quality insights for almost all the domains
What do you dislike about the product?
The newly added KOL interview segment is bit generic. In terms of insights, a lot can be improved by asking player to player competitive questions rather than focusing on overall market.

I wish there was a more useful was to quickly see a list of a company's major filings sorted by annual and interim. Excel add-in needs improvement to match the previous Sentieo add-in.

Searching through the massive amount of filings, news, and research. AI summaries are very helpful and time saving.
In 2018, we were able to reduce hiring and operate with 5% less headcount as a result of productivity gains in AlphaSense. We look to add approximately five new credits to the portfolio each year and AlphaSense gives us greater confidence in these investment decisions.
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense provides a concise platform that has all the information I could possibly need all in one place. From research, to transcript, filings and general industry news, I am able to find anything I need and more quickly and concisely. The AI tools for keyword searches is incredibly accurate and often generates associated results I had not thought of searching for. I find the daily notification emails I've customized to be a great way to ensure I don't miss any relevant industry news. And then finally, whenever I encounter an issue (more often when I don't know how to perform a certain search), the support team is quick to respond and extremely knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, the hardest part is just the vast accessibility of the information. You need to be thoughtful in your search to ensure you don't go down a tangential rabbit hole (which happens frequently). The two downsides to the program is the lack of an ability to auto-generate a PIB or other single document of consolidated information on public companies for senior leaders. Additionally, not having a more interactive SEC filing program that allows me to look across quarter / years / similar filings means that I have to maintain a separate subscription with Bamsec. That said, the we've been notified that AlphaSense is working to develop both these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an investor relations and strategy professional, I use AlphaSense on a daily basis to monitor market sentiment, street analysis and competitor actions. Without AlphaSense, I would not be able to maintain a pulse on investors for our company nor would I be able to generate competitive insights for senior management and our board. Having all the reasearch tools I need in one place makes searches and data aggregation extremely easy.

It has plethora of data events and features curated from multiple sources across all geographies. I particularly like the key word search options and the way the key words are highlighted in the retrieved search documents. The ease to search, identify and export are the main elements that I love about Alphasense.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have one comment to add. It will be easier if the user gets to see which document hits have been reviewed by just one click of the title where the bold text gets converted to normal font by one click instead of waiting for the document to open on the right hand side of the search results.

Daily monitoring of multiple indications, companies and tarhets of interest at one place. Previously, I used to search through multiple sources to search and curate the same news Alphasense also helps me to go through historical reports that are difficult to find through normal google search. The key words and availability of paid reports are the elements that help in my day to day work.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the implementation with AI to summarize event transcripts. It acceleratees my work of comparison with peers. It became part of my job routine, I use it once a week... I appreciate I had a couple of call with Alphasense on how to use new functionalities and the fact they were the first contacting me - I mighthave missed something otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like also to see more news on a specific company like newspapaer articles and things like that - it will substitute Refinitiv. It takes you a while to understand how to use it - lots of filters, sections etc. However after that it quickens your search a lot I don't use the notebook part, I found it easier writng directly on word.

Making peers comparison, getting idea of what's going on on some companies on which I don't have time to look at deeply. It substituted Bloomberg and Refinitv in the use of transcripts. Thanks to AI highlights and summary I quote event transcrpts easy and fast.

The search capability, I am able to search very broadly but still pull relevant results from hundreds of different sources in a way that is not possible with Google or any other tool (CBInsights, PitchBook, Quid, etc.). The quality of the results and the aggregation of industries and companies is also hugely useful for me.
