What do you like best about the product?

Nectar is a great tool for me to use as a supervisor to reward team members for going above and beyond their rolls. With points that they can use to get items and rewards that they actually want/need it's a win-win for both my company and employees. My team really took well to using this platform and everyone reminds each other to use up their balance by the end of the month.

What do you dislike about the product?

User interface could be expanded. Make ease of access by being able to "pin" or "favorite" certain team members that you frequently give to would be nice.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes the reorganization of employees super easy. It is such a great reminder to give my team monthly kudos for jobs well done instead of waiting for yearly reviews. It has also made those easier since I can go though points I have sent out and jog my memory of the great things my team has done over the year.

What I like best about Nectar is how it encourages people to keep helping each others and showing appreciation for their loyalty. the points that add up over time, it feels like a small but meaningful way of saying 'thank you' and motivating us to keep going."

I love the incentives that it provides. It really helps you reach your targeted health goals and being able to see other's progress is also very motivating.

I wish there was like an integrated step counter app connected to it where it automatically uploads your steps.

I like that we can recognize the great work of our colleagues and reward them for their efforts. It is easy to use, notifies you when you are recognized, and it is easy to cash out your points.

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike or find to be negative about it. I really like it's functionality. Maybe more reminders to use? We all get very busy and it can be just another email that when prioritizing we tend to ignore.

I only use this to recognize others, so there are no problems.

It is a great way to give shout outs to team members and also give something tangible for their hard work. Especially in a remote setting, there isn't as much opportunity to bring treats to the office and share in the same way.

There isn't a downside about Nectar! I haven't found anything to complain about :)

It solves the problem of people not getting recognized for the small achievments they contribute.

It's a very user-friendly platform. It has a wide variety of reward options for your staff as well. I think it's nice to see all of the shout outs but it's also nice as a supervisor to have the option to make those private as well.

It would be nice to have more point breakdown options. Our company only has two options for points to be allotted to give out.

Individuals in our agency wanted more employee recognition so this platform is an easy way for supervisors to do that but also peer to peer recognition.

Sometimes, logging in can be difficult for some reason.

I really enjoy the flexibility Nectar provides. Being about watch the points accumulate is one of the best feelings ever, especially when they are rewarded to you from peers, and you can reward them, it's a special feeling and treat. I use it whenever I can to reward my team outside of words.

I have nothing negative to say about being able to reward those around you, especially when it's so easy to access and use the rewards however you choose.

Nectar solves the feeling of not feeling any type of appreciation on a regular basis, even small rewards go a long way and this system really supports that.

Interface is simple (which is good) but a little bland. Also, I often have to reset my password for no reason at all - perhaps there's a 90 day timeout or something but it's not clear to me.

As a fully remote company, we need tools to engage each other and build company culture - Nectar is really helpful in this pursuit!

Our team relies on Nectar as both a reward system and a source of motivation. We give out points for winning daily task competitions, joining in team-building activities, and acknowledging colleagues who show outstanding teamwork. This approach has noticeably improved morale and made our work environment more enjoyable. The selection of prizes is also unique and truly valuable.

It would be more convenient in certain situations if there were an option for direct purchase instead of only using gift cards. Additionally, having a feature that allows users to gift a prize would be a thoughtful addition.

Using Nectar has been a strong motivator throughout the workday. Our primary responsibilities—data entry and customer service—can often feel repetitive and, at times, emotionally exhausting. Having a system that provides recognition along with a tangible reward for our efforts is essential for fostering loyalty and a sense of personal connection.

It's very easy to give a shout out to a coworker and actually be able to give them something of value. It really is just a few clicks and short note.

I really haven't seen any issues or disadvantages with Nectar at all.

Some people like a shout out or pat on the back for doing a good job and some people (at least act like they) could care less. Everyone appreciates receiving something of value and that adds a great deal to the kudos you give.

It's a way to reward my coworkers and be rewarded for helping others. It feels great to be acknowledged for hard work and very motivating.

It's limited to 50 points per month, and I feel that I am limited to who I can acknowledge that month if multiple people helped me. It feels like I have to choose the one I liked best.

Oftentimes, our work goes unnoticed. Nectar is a way that other people in the company can thank you and acknowledge you and vice versa.

The app was easy to use and to implement in my daily tasks. There are multiple features offered and it also allows for employees to access customer support for any concerns as needed. I also had no issues integrating this app into my weekly tasks.

No identified downsides. I have worked in placed where this is not present and was pleasantly surprised with this perk upon joining the team.

I use nectar to help me meet my goals and to help identify areas that I can improve.

I enjoy Nectar because the rewards are useful. It keeps me accountable for tracking my workouts weekly, and the rewards are worth it.

I really appreciate how Nectar makes it simple to recognize others for their hard work. When someone is acknowledged, they receive a nice little bonus of sorts, and everyone can see the "Shout Out" highlighting the great job that person is doing.

It makes it easy for people to recognize others and show their appreciation. Too often, people are not acknowledged for the good things they do; they only hear feedback when something has gone wrong. This provides a pleasant way to give someone credit and thank them for their efforts.

Nectar is a really awesome way to acknowledge your coworkers in a fun and engaging way. Many companies have a peer-to-peer recognition software or method but it is pretty much always clunky or difficult to use so employees don't use it. Nectar fixes that problem and then some. Not only is it easy to use, but it's also fun to use with the integration of gifs. I appreciate being able to break up your allowance into into many chunks to shower numerous coworkers with praise or appreciation. Our entire company uses Nectar and not sporadically. There are always points flying around all the time.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish there was a way to send back points to someone who gave you points in the comments of the thread. Like if someone is like "thanks for doing a good job on this! +100" I'd like to be able to comment back like "hey, thanks for the help with it +50"

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nectar replaces the old clunky way we did peer-to-peer recognition. Our old way was via salesforce which as you can imagine was a nightmare. It's benefiting not just me but the whole company. We're remote so it's hard to give what feels like genuine praise via an email or chat. Nectar provides a bit more body to what sometimes feels like passive praise.

Honestly, I really like using Nectar. It’s super easy to use—I didn’t need anyone to explain it to me, I just logged in and started sending shoutouts. I usually use it a few times a week to give coworkers some recognition or just say thanks when someone helps me out. It’s cool seeing everyone hyping each other up—it definitely adds some good vibes to the workday. Getting recognized feels good too, not gonna lie. And the rewards are a nice bonus (there’s actually stuff I want to redeem points for). Overall, it’s simple, fun, and makes work feel a bit more positive.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the point limits make it hard to recognize as many coworkers as I’d like. Would be nice to have a bit more flexibility.

Nectar helps make recognition part of our everyday work. It’s a quick, easy way to shout out coworkers, and it really boosts team morale. People feel more appreciated and motivated.

I love how people who work remotely can show appreciation to other colleagues within our company. I find Nectar easy to use and navigate. I like how Nectar with notify a person when they are about to have expiring points and also how easy it is to access.

I think that the turn around for acquiring points should be more frequent. It takes a while to accumulate points to receive a decent gift. Also, I think it benefits people work do not work remotely because they have more of a personal connect with collogues in the office and therefore tend to utilize it more frequently.

Nectar is helping with allowing employees the opportunity to connect. After Covid we have seen a major increase in remote work causing interacting and showing appreciation to be difficult. Nectar allows you to send points and appreciate employees for a job well done or to simply give them a gift for an anniversary. It brings employees within an organization closer and also gives employees an incentive to do their best so they have a chance to be rewarded.

On the flip side, receiving points is incredibly encouraging — a tangible reminder that your hard work is seen and valued. Nectar is so easy to use that it’s become part of my daily workflow. The platform is very user-friendly, and implementation was smooth and straightforward. It integrates easily with other workplace tools, and customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions. I also love the thoughtful design — for example, when you’re typing a shoutout, the system turns green once you’ve written a strong message, which is such a fun and motivating touch. There is little to dislike about Nectar; however, when completing challenges, I wish the algorithm would bump those down in the feed to show the person-to-person shoutouts first. I think it would help add more of a positive feeling, seeing all of the shoutouts first!

I think Nectar is a wonderful platform! One enhancement that could improve the user experience would be the ability to access gift cards directly within the app, rather than locating them through email. I wouldn’t consider this a true dislike—more of an opportunity to make an already great tool even better.
