Our firm underestimated the onboarding: there is a lot of back-end work, and it is important to ensure support staff is prepared for that before diving in.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who has used other eDiscovery platforms, Everlaw has been the most user friendly! The fact that we can upload, review and produce documents using one application has made my job duties so much easier. The Everlaw team set aside several hours for training so the transition to their platform was seamless. Whenever I need clarification, or assistance with doing something new, I have been able to call Everlaw Customer Service. There has never been a long wait time, they remote in, and my questions are always answered quickly, with a complete explanation from the team. I have had to use Everlaw daily, and I am no longer intimidated on performing my eDiscovery tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The splitting function can become confusing when having to produce documents that aren't apart of the parent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having to use three or more applications to perform eDiscovery needs from upload to production, having to only open ONE and getting the job done, has been a HUGE time saver.
Everlaw is critical for completing and analyzing a voluminous document production
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful function of Everlaw is that you can create your own codes for sorting documents that are more tailored to the needs of your specific case. You can take notes, go back later and follow up, and sort by code to identify important documents quickly. The production function is extremely important and creates an expedited assembly of producible documents tailored to your case. The best part of Everlaw is the expert customer service available at anytime. The staff is happy to help walk you through everything over the phone until you understand and have it properly set up. Every time I called, all of my questions were resolved and I received some helpful tips that I had not thought about. Additionally, there are short videos with setup instructions and samples. Once you get it all set up, the document review process went so fast. Everlaw also saved your work at every step, which was helpful if I was interrupted or needed a break and could come back and pick right up where I left off. I was able to very quickly sort through voluminous documents, identify relevant and privileged documents, and run a bates stamped production in a very short amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful is the initial set up. Although it takes a while, it is worth it in the end when everything is set up how you like it for the project you are working on. Also, the staff was extremely helpful on multiple calls and walking me through it until it was correctly set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everlaw helps solve the problem of producing an accurate work product in the most efficient manner. It has benefited me with voluminous e-discovery that was completed in a fraction of the time. Everlaw also was also helpful because it saved my work product and I was able to login at anytime and work on the project, and pick up where I left off.
Great Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Everlaw is super easy to navigate. This is my first time interacting with this software to review documents and I was able to catch on fairly quickly, especially compares to prior experience with other applications. The interface is very user friendly and intuitive. There is no lag when clicking between screens or pages of documents. Overall, very satisfied with this being the software I will be using during my time with this law firm.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside that I have noticed is clicking the tags or coding options isn't always efficient. Meaning I click the "tags" button the right screen while reviewing a document and instead of showing the dropdown menu, a tip or nothing appears. This may be because I am using a laptop and need a bigger screen to give the button more space to comply with my command.

Everlaw is allowing for review of large documents, including presentations and emails. This benefits me because it is my job to perform document review and Everlaw is making my job easier.

Easy as pie…
What do you like best about the product?
In nearly 33 years of practice as a trial lawyer, I’ve had occasion to use a number of e-discovery platforms, and Everlaw is the most user-friendly by a long shot. Even as a 50-something Luddite, I was able to readily locate and review documents and configure and execute document productions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s been about two years since I used Everlaw intensively, and so this may have been refined, but the proximity search syntax was (if I recall correctly) not the most intuitive.

It is simple and user friendly to navigate through the platform. I like how uploading and production process is easy and customer support is also responsive when the resources are not enough to understand some of process.

One thing I don't like is when the production is made and need to revise/edit minor changes, I cannot revise/edit the production. I have to deletle the whole thing and rerun it again.

The thing I like the most about Everlaw is all of the things it can do, especially when it comes to coding, and making document productions. It can take almost any file type, and there was a problem I ran into once where it wouldn't take the load file type and they went and converted it and uploaded it for me. The Everlaw staff is also very helpful and quick in their responses.

Only downside is sometimes I don't know how to use certain features, I wish the help pages were a little more helpful. But nonethless the Everlaw staff is always there for you.

It puts all of the documents in one place and makes it very simple to search for terms and dates when people produced large zip files containing 100,000+ documents. The deduplication feature is also a lifesaver.
