What do you like best about the product?

The icons truly represent the task you are seeking to do and it is easy to find assistance by simply clicking a question icon on the top right. The speed to upload data, download documents, and create productions is very fast.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would like more information on creating samples and using AI to review very large sets of documents with an easy to use calculator when mathematical equations are involved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Everlaw is providing us with a greater control of our data review process. We are able to quickly step in and create batch assignments and create productions during tight timelines.

What do you like best about the product?

The support that Everalw provides is unparalleled. They provide a comprehensive range of training options/tools to learn at your own pace and provide a dedicated customer experience respresentative to assist with training, tips, troubleshooting, and other needs. They have a rapid response turnaround and make you feel as though you are their sole customer.

What do you dislike about the product?

The platform is quite sophisticated and offers a wide range of functinalities which may initially seem a bit overwelming or intimitdating.

Everlaw is an intuitive platform that allows for efficient document review and seamless productions.

It can take some time to undertand the syntax for searches.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can quickly review productions and analyze what we have received. We're also able to manage our own productions more effectively without downtime waiting for vendor responses for simple tasks.

The incorporation of deposition videos, transcripts and exhibits.

I wish there were ways to desinate transcript with party names rather than just colors.

Loading productions without a loadfile and preserving metadata.

Easy to load documents and run production. There's a folder feature which is very nice as well. Also a really awesome section for marking depositions

Pricing is not bad but becomes expensive with large data sets

It is still the best platform I've used. The interface has been cleaned up to make it easier to understand

Teams that are new to eDiscovery review/hosting have a smaller learning curve adopting to Everlaw over a complex solution like Relativity

We are currently working on a training sessions for new paralegals coming onboard

I think the most helpful for me will be the automatic transcripts with video/audio files that are uploaded to the program. Also, the saved search options seem much more indepth and accurate than other programs we use.

What do you dislike about the product?

The fact that our offices will be limited on the size we can use based on the dispersements of funding. Our LitTech is eager to delete the case to make more room for other cases, and some cases take longer than others.

The ability to separate junk emails from full email returns will be so helpul when we're trying to find relevant information.

I really appreciate the personalized one-on-one training sessions with a dedicated Everlaw specialist. It's clear they are extensively trained on the system, understanding its capabilities inside and out. If they encounter something Everlaw can't currently do, they actively seek to escalate that feedback, aiming for future enhancements.

There is a lot of tools and shortcuts that can sometimes be overwhelming

The capability to efficiently organize large production files in a structured manner, making them readily accessible for future use, whether it's sharing with clients, utilizing in depositions or trials, or simply maintaining overall file organization.

What do you like best about the product?

It offers advanced search functions, including predictive coding and data visualization tools, which help in quickly finding relevant documents. Everlaw provides robust collaboration features, enabling legal teams to work together efficiently, share notes, and track progress on cases. It als can handle large volumes of data, making it suitable for both small cases and complex, large-scale litigation. Lastly, its responsive and helpful customer support, which can be crucial during high-pressure litigation tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't have the best time with production because of my lack of Everlaw knowledge, I know this process could be great, however I dislike that it taste bare minimum understanding to be able to utilize the platform decently well. You can't just throw someone in to learn, I feel that it would be really difficult for them to understand. Additionally, batch redaction does not always work. Persisent highlights ofen ID what it thinks is PII but they are not i.e. employee numbers are often mistaken for banking numbers so you cant use batch redact in that situation. Also, to make the production process painless, it's important to recognize the work done on the front end to set up the highlights, coding, presets, layouts, production protocol, etc. to set yourself up for success.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I currently do not have any pending problems with Everlaw.

What do you like best about the product?

I love reviewing documents on Everlaw. Being able to set precoded hotkeys for certain documents is a game changer in terms of document review.

What do you dislike about the product?

The reviewer metrics on the management side, as well as the difficulty of setting up individual QC searches leaves much to be desired, in this aspect Everlaw lags behind Relativity.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Everlaw makes it extremely easy and fast to review documents and this helps me manage my time more effectively and get more work done in less time which allows me breathing room to focus and not worry so much about maintaining a high rate of review.

Very intuitive interface. Productive for document review with minimal training,

Seemed a bit difficult to find the radio button to open the folders.

Very cost effective for small firm practice.

I'm able to find needles in the haystack! Honestly. It will shift your document search into lightspeed. I've been working through a huge case with a file stack upwards of 100k (that's files, not pages!). I type a few keywords, phrases, or even sentences and it filters all of those to show me where those are specifically mentioned....in seconds....HUGE TIME SAVER

What do you dislike about the product?

Seems a little intimidating at first. Might be a little steep for some to learn. But really, nothing else.

A firm used to be able to give you stacks of 800-page binders and having you burning the midnight oil for weeks on end to sift through and build a case. With Everlaw, I can rapidly sort through documents, organize by topic/content, and build out binders full of critical evidence within days.

It helps organize documents in many ways, easing the process of discovery.

There is a steep learning curve; it is not necessarily intuitive.

Coding documents based on responsiveness and privilege, redacting protected information, producing documents.

The most helpful thing about Everlaw is the ease of use and ability to assign individual projects. When you have large production documents like we do, Everlaw makes it a breeze to sail through them! Everlaw makes sure to include all attachments from email productions and helps categorize them for organization. Our entire firm has switched to Everlaw and this has been a great system to use. Fast, reliable, and efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?

Just like any new system, this will take some getting used to. The system itself is actually pretty straightforward if you have a trainer or you view the training videos yourself. At first it might seem confusing, but once you actually get into using this software - it is really straight forward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sorting through massive document productions throughout eDiscovery. This is a complete game changed for efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?

I see Everlaw as a Mac vs. other platforms as PC. Like Mac, Everlaw has intuitive, fluid, colorful and easy to maneuver around layout like a Mac as opposed PC with cryptic icons and bookmarks with there's only one way to do a task with specific steps that you must follow or it doesn't work.

There's no record/document meta data sorting of parent vs. attachment like other platforms.

I love the number of features that allow you to target date ranges, meta data, custodians, or all of the above! Also, the customer support is incredible.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes it feels like there are too many features, but that more about user (i.e., me) limitations than any shortcomings of the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows multiple users to review and code documents--either the same documents (i.e., multiple reviews) or to assign out batches of documents from a signle production to complete review quickly and avoid duplication of effort.

The opportunity to have training at my finger tips.

Time searching for documents which creates more efficiency and productivity.

As a seasoned legal professional, I've had the opportunity to work with various litigation software programs since 2005, but none have quite matched the efficiency and versatility of Everlaw. Everlaw developed user-friendly interface, which makes navigating complex legal documents and case files a breeze. Whether you're reviewing deposition transcripts, organizing exhibits, or organizing voluminous discovery records, the intuitive design ensures that you can easily access the information you need with just a few clicks. One of the most impressive aspects of Everlaw is its advanced analytics and reporting capabilities. The software allows users to generate detailed reports and analytics on their case progress, creates reports for key metrics, enabling users to make data-driven decisions and gain valuable insights into your cases.

What do you dislike about the product?

The instructions videos could definately use some improvement and more details.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

organizing and keeping track of e-discovery progress on my cases. However, there are some improviments that could use such as chronological organization.

What do you like best about the product?

I am very impressed with the batch redacting abilities. The software's ability to visualize and represent documents that are all part of an email chain is also very impressive; even if documents all have their own bates number, EverLaw can identify when multiple documents are part of the same email chain and help you to visualize where that particular document falls within the email chain. I also find the ability to see how a given file is an attachment to another document (usually an email) very useful.

What do you dislike about the product?

I may just not understand how this is possible in Everlaw, but my impression is that you cannot sanitize file names while the documents are uploaded/hosted on the platform. I wish there was a way to find unusual characters in file names (which can cause problems in opening the file in the future), and to batch rename files to a more standardized file naming schema/convention that makes the file names more standardized for archiving needs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Everlaw is solving the need to have a tool that can help my team visualize incoming born-digital archival materials, and to process them in large batches (automated redaction, and also making it easy to maually do quality assurance steps). It also does a great job in helping us visualize the different kinds of files, and content withing a batch of files. EverLaw does a great job extracting descriptive and some technical metadata about a large volume of files and allowing processing in a smooth interface that doesn't seem to slow us down in any way.
