What do you like best about the product?

I love that Nectar has so many GIFs to pick from when shouting out my coworkers. It makes it fun and entertaining. I always enjoy looking at other shoutouts to see their funny GIFs. Also, I like that we have a choice of MANY different options when redeeming points.

What do you dislike about the product?

The one thing I dislike is having to verify every so often on my app. I understand it’s a security feature, but it’s just kinda of irritating sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nectar is helping Kama’āina Kids recognize their employees and also helps keep each other in the loop about company get togethers, events, and special challenges.

What do you like best about the product?

It is a fun way to acknowledge the people you work with and their accomplishments or tell others the little things that they do not get to know about the day to day performances of those team members not close or in the same region as each other. Also lets the supervisors know how well their team members can work together and come up with solutions to a problem and recognition for going above and beyond what they are expected to. An easy way to earn points that can be tuned into a gift certificate or redeemed on amazon for various items. What employee doesn't like to feel appreciated.? This allows you to give the praise to those who have worked hard to meet a goal or to to improve on their skills they needed to improve . It also allows you to give shout outs to a new hire or retiring team member. I think that it is a great way to show the team that you see them and appreciate the efforts they are putting into the organization. quietly yet effectively, It is also nice that you can turn the points into something you want, not something that is given to you that you will end up regifting to the next person who has a birthday. Not something I would find rewarding if it were me. Just saying.

What do you dislike about the product?

they do not provide a full description of items you can get with your points. You have to go to amazon.com and look them up first if you must know the specific details. Otherwise you are simply making a decision because you wanted it and don't really care about the details anyway.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Closes a gap making it possible for everyone in the company to engage in congratulating others for a job well done. Also helps everyone to know what's going on in the other regions and divisions of the company. Makes them mor informed on what their company has going on as a whole and gives a better understanding of what we do as a company I get to know the members that I never see in person yet we can have a work relationship. I do not have to travel to do so .I get points for my performances and i can give to others. It helps me know that I am just one of many to makes a difference on a daily basis. That makes me happy and all is good in my world knowing that I am a part of a team and I am just as important to this company as they are. I get great rewards I pick for myself and I am the only one that can limit how often I am rewarded by working hard and continuing to do my job that I am already paid to do each payday but my bosses are generous and want us to know that we are appreciated not just here to make them money but to make us money and enjoy actually coming in to work daily. So its a win win kind of thing

The functionality, the monthly allowance and how it lets me give it to teammates

What do you dislike about the product?

This could be improved if it allowed users to allocate different amounts for a shoutout. For example, I had 40 points left and wanted to distribute them as 15, 15, and 10, since that was all I had. It would also be helpful if there was an option to borrow from the next month's points in situations like this.

It has such a wide variety of gift cards which is what I always select. It's also a lot of fun to give shoutouts to coworkers that go above and beyond the call of duty! I've never had any problems using Nectar since my company brought it online.

I've never experienced any difficulty using Nectar so there's really nothing to dislike about it.

It's really opened up communication between departments and it demonstrates how often our departments rely on each other to meet company objectives.

I love seeing the challenge proof photos. It's a fun way to interact with coworkers!

I wish the comments that we left with our challenge proof photos could be posted along with those photos on the feed. Maybe have checkbox if you want the text posted or not and have the admin ultimately decide to post it or not.

Nectar helps create a sense of community - we put our employees first and this is a great way to do so!

It is easy to use and provides a platform to recognize employee achievements.

I have not found a downside. It is easy to use.

I really like Nectar's entire system, which incentivizes building a strong workplace culture and creating stronger bonds between coworkers. I also think the user interface its strong and well designed.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think it's strong overall, but maybe there's a way to make the platform even more interactive. At the moment, I only use it to send Nectar points but given that I tend to give those away around the same time, it means I don't really interact with Nectar for the majority of the month.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nectar is great for building a strong workplace culture and making me feel more connected to my company, beyond my immediate team. I think it does a great job of encouraging people to be more social, helpful, and resourceful.

What do you like best about the product?

Nectar is a great way to recognize co-workers, especially remote workers, in a way that is sincere and positive. I like the ability to choose my rewards, as well. No one needs another company pen! Easy to use, I use it multiple times a month, and it's nice to integrate it into our overall recognition program.

Nothing to dislike about Nectar - the ease is everything!

Nectar solves the problem of how to appropriately and immediately recognize someone for doing great work!

It provides an easy and meaningful way to recognize staff for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication. This has benefited me by creating a more positive and supportive work environment where recognition is shared, morale is boosted, and contributions feel valued.

It's simple to use, and easy to understand. Plus the wide variety of gift cards is extremely nice.

There's a little too much integration - I don't love how I get email and Teams notifications.

I really appreciate how Nectar allows me to publicly recognize my coworkers in a way that genuinely benefits them. The platform is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and find whatever I need. Giving shoutouts is also a quick and straightforward process, which I find very convenient.

The only aspect of Nectar that I find frustrating is the need to cash out points in set increments, which often leaves a small balance remaining. However, I am unsure if this is a decision made by Nectar or if it is outside of their control.

Before we started using Nectar, my organization did not have an easy way to recognize many people for the small things they did. Nectar has made it simple to show everyone that their efforts are valued and that every contribution, no matter how minor, is important.

I believe Nectar is an excellent tool for recognizing employees and sharing updates throughout the company. With our team spread across several states, I appreciate being able to see what my colleagues in other locations are working on and to receive recognition for my own contributions. I also really enjoy the rewards system—Nectar provides a variety of great options for redeeming reward points.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main issue I have with Nectar is that I am repeatedly required to log in, even though it is already linked to Teams. I would prefer if there were an automatic login feature that kept me connected as long as my Teams account is active.

Nectar has made it easier for my company to connect and foster a positive atmosphere. We can recognize each other's achievements, which really boosts morale. I also love that we can use the recognition points we earn to redeem gift cards—it's a great incentive!

I love being able to recognize my team and other Tech employees in front of everyone. I feel that it increases morale.

Limitations of swag available internally.

It is improving employee morale by allowing us to recognize employee's contributions in a manner other than email.

I love the way you can customize it for your company values and tag the departments or coworkers that you are recognizing. The points and variety of rewards available mean there is something for everyone! Makes it super easy to recognize team members in meaningful ways. Even the un-techy people on our team have been able to use it successfully.

I find it difficult to access notifications. I get an email someone has tagged me or commented on something but on Nectar itself it can be hard to find.

We have 100+ locations across four islands and this streamlines the employee recognition process in a way that traditional or corporate/physical site recognition could not

I enjoy the way Nectar keeps our team connected and engaged in celebrating one another (boosting team morale).

I would like to see more GIFs (and GIF functionality) be added to Nectar.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nectar helps keep our team connected while also promoting encouragement and empowerment from anyone in the organization, offering an approachability to leadership that might not be seen (especially with virtual team members) without a platform to share these thoughts and ideas.

I really like Nectar's social media-like interface to make something work related feel a little more fun and familiar.

I haven't used Nectar long enough to really identify any down sides to it. It seems like there's little room for error :)

Nectar is solving a problem I've run into at many workplaces before, and that is the problem of employee morale. Any workplace can have their methods of employee appreciation and collaboration, but Nectar really takes both aspects of that and combines them into a genius software!

You have to build up a lot of points to get a gift card.

Again, the points should be lower to redeem gift cards (less points for more money value)

The limitations. Award limits are too strict and small incremental amounts aren't as meaningful. It would be more appropriate to limit the people you can reward per month based on who you've contributed to in previous months.

I love the ease of use. I appreciate the number of features that it offers, and how quick the customer support has been when I have had a question or concern.

I have yet to find anything that I do not like.

It gives myself and my teammates a chance to recognize each other in a tangible format.

I love how easily I'm able to recognize my coworkers and give something back to them for always jumping in to help.

The only downside for me is the flexibility of reward redemption. I'd love to be able to choose my own amount rather than rely on set interval amounts.

Nectar is providing an easy and fun solution to employee recognition! It's nice to have control over how I am able to recognize my coworkers.

What do you like best about the product?

Everything. The interface is easy to use and very intuitive. The shoutouts to be engaging with gifs/emojis help make it fun. Being able to see leaderboards is a great way to gamify the experience, also.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find the login process to be a bit clunky - this could be our own system, but often I have to authenticate and would prefer a remember me or something just to make dropping in/out quick. This is exceedingly nitpicking, so please keep that in mind. In general I do find the interface/user experience to be fantastic!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is solving the problem of finding creative ways to celebrate small wins that don't feel forced. It is common for us to use GIFs or fun/light messages in day-to-day communication via Teams, and Nectar just feels natural.
