The downside is you can not exchange it for cash into your account.

That the rewards can be added to a visa gift card! Very convenient to also be able to add the card to your Apple wallet.

There aren't any things that I dislike about it. I do; however, think that the company doesn't give us enough points to give out.

I like the wide variety of choices in gift cards and other rewards available. Additionally, although I haven't personally used them, I know several people who have been able to get great discounts using the discounts available as well. The app is easy to use to send Nectar to others and include personalization in the comments being sent with the shout out.

I don't like how points don't match dollars, so you can end up with odd amounts of points you can't use. Would be better it is was even at a point = dollar type set up. Only thing I can really think of as a negative.

This is simply another way for me to reward my team, especially when financial incentives might not be possible. It allows me to give them extra recognition even when our budget for monetary rewards is limited.

I really like how easy Nectar is to access and navigate. The platform feels straightforward, and I can quickly get to what I need without any hassle. The reward options are also really good — there’s a wide variety to choose from, which makes the experience more enjoyable and motivating. I don’t have many dislikes. The only small inconvenience is that I often have to re-verify my login even when I select the option to remember my device. It’s not a major issue, but it can be a little repetitive at times. Other than that, my experience has been positive.

Nectar helps improve communication and connection across the company by giving us an easy way to recognize and appreciate one another. It supports team building and creates a more positive work environment. Because employees can receive recognition in real time, it helps us feel seen and appreciated for the work we do. This has definitely boosted morale and made collaboration smoother.

I like the ability to personalize the message by adding gifs and having emoji reactions.

There really is not much that sticks out to me as negative. I suppose that when you want to look back at your personal given and received shoutouts on your profile the page is not full size

Nectar is a great way for us to call out acts by fellow employees no matter how small or large in order to highlight that moment and provide recognition, along with some points! It is customizable in the messaging so that we can all keep our personality in it and vary it based on the message. The reward options to "cash in" your points are very diverse and beneficial to people like me who like to build up their points and save them for something larger, or for people who want to be able to exchange smaller amounts as they come up for smaller gifts.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the primary win is that you can reward collogues for the tremendous work they do, and call it out to the entire company, while also rewarding them for any hard work or accomplishments they do.

I currently haven't run into any issues or negatives about using Nectar, I would say it's a pretty balanced system, runs well, and has great rewards for high-performers or co-workers that have great achievements to be rewarded for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nectar solves the problem of finding an easy way to recognize greatness in your fellow coworkers for their hard work or amazing accomplishments they achieve; while also being able to pick and choose the exact reward for said hard work and accomplishments.
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is easy to use! I have never encountered any errors or issues - the technology always works seamlessly. There is a great selection of GIFs and emojis available, which makes it fun to add extra flair to shoutouts. The platform's organization is excellent; I have never had any difficulty finding information or features.
What do you dislike about the product?
When selecting a name with the @ feature, the results do not always appear promptly or accurately. For instance, if I am searching for John Doe, I might need to type out @johndo before the name appears in the search results. On other occasions, even after entering that many letters, the name might still not show up, and I have to try searching with just @joh instead.

Nectar allows me to acknowledge my teammates and employees in a meaningful, public way. When someone does something exceptional or goes the extra mile, they truly deserve recognition that not only rewards them but also highlights their efforts to others. With Nectar, I am able to accomplish both of these goals. I have really enjoyed using this platform!

The tagging of some coworkers by name can be clunky based on their chosen username vs their actual name.

Nectar is helping to provide engagement and connection with the team, departments, and company. It makes myself and others act positively with the ability to get Nectar points for good things.

I love how versatile it is, but also casual for small kudos. I love that the points don't expire.

I wish we got more than 50 points to give away per month. That is really the only thing I don't like. I wish we could convert our "swag" bucks into regular points as well.

It's solving the issue of employees being recognized not only by their higher-ups, but by their peers. It also solves the issue of receiving an incentive or reward you aren't interested in.

Nectar has given me the flexibility to choose how I want to use my benefits, simply sending me a gift card that I can redeem with whichever company I prefer. Before using Nectar, we had a prepaid gift card that was difficult to use and came with a lot of fees.

Nectar has caused me to spend more at Amazon and has made it necessary for me to keep my Amazon Prime membership, since I often receive items for free through the program.

Nectar has made it possible for me to earn rewards regularly, and I find them straightforward to redeem and use wherever I value them most.

Some employees volunteered to beta test a new product, and I was able to reward them with Nectar points as a thank you for their time!

I like how easy it is just to send a quick thank you or show my appreciation to a coworker. Its fun to include the gifs to add a little extra pizazz! I like that a notification is sent both via Teams and our email letting us know we have received a shoutout, and especially the email reminder before the months end so we don't forget to send our shout outs. Additionally, i do like that we are able to personalize our shoutouts and don't have to stick with just the company hashtags. I had one issue with trying to cash out Nectars before the holidays last year, but the support team was quick and thorough and very helpful in helping me track down the issue and cash in my points.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is a downside, and this might be operator error, but I wish there was a way to look back through our own nectar shoutouts we've received, just if we need a little pick-me-up someday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It benefits me, obviously, when I receive Nectars. Many Chipotle burrito bowls have been purchased, even a matching sister tattoo, courtesy of Nectars! I also enjoy sending little shout outs to my coworkers, in hopes of brightening their days!

Nectar allows companies to reward their employees in real time with gifts they would not only like but use.
What do you like best about the product?
Nectar is easy to use and a fun way to keep employees involved. Being able to pass kudos to a coworker without having to first go to a lead is wonderful and being able to include funny GIFs also makes my weird little heart happy. I use both the stand alone Nectar app as well as the Microsoft Teams integration, and both are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only real downside is the specific dollar amounts that are required to "cash out" for gift cards. For example, only being able to receive a gift card in increments of $5 vs the actual dollar amount you have in rewards. Even then, not a big issue.

More employee recognition, especially from other coworkers. Able to provide real appreciation at the drop of a hat!

I love that you take the time to highlight the hard work your teammates do every day. Most people only get called out when mistakes happen on the worksite, and the good work often goes unnoticed. It feels great to see the positive things being recognized and celebrated.
