What do you like best about the product?

I've really enjoyed using Nectar within our organization as a way to recognize and reward my colleagues. It's an easy platform to use and the built in hashtags are good prompts for celebrating others. It's been fun to share points as well as collect my own to use on so many different types of rewards.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only thing I find a little difficult is remembering to go to my personal notifications when I've received a shout out from someone because it doesn't show up in my feed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it's been a great way to reward and celebrate coworkers when we are all working remotely as well as in situations where there isn't a budget or ability to provide monetary or actual gifts. I've been able to use points save on big purchases and just get things 'for fun' that I wouldn't have normally

I like that this is a space that we can use to uplift one another.

I believe there should be more frequent chances to earn additional points that can be redeemed for rewards.

At times, it can feel like there is a disconnect between the buildings in the district. However, this app makes it possible for everyone to share and recognize our achievements, no matter which building we are in. It really helps us feel like one unified team!

I really enjoy tagging my co-workers and giving them public recognition. I especially love that I can add a gif. It's also pretty easy to use.

I dislike not having enough points every month to give out enough to colleagues.

Not so much a problem, but it's a great virtual way to team build and show recognition for various aspects of work, such as collaboration or integrity.

Recognition is fast and fun - takes just seconds to send praise, and it helps boost team morale and keeps everyone feeling appreciated! Very easy to learn as well and I am on there almost daily.

My only dislike with Nectar is sending points to multiple people—it takes extra clicks and you have to keep searching for each person. It would be great if recipients stayed visible and the points automatically totaled when sending to multiple people.

Nectar gives a sense of connection among employees, even when they are working from various locations. The platform’s regular recognition features help keep teams motivated and engaged, ensuring that employees feel valued and acknowledged for all their contributions.

The points expire every month, which can be challenging in our industry since we experience both slow and busy periods. I wish the points could roll over, so they would be available during times when there are more peers to recognize.

I am new to using Nectar, and I absolutely love it! It offers a low-pressure way to celebrate teamwork and recognize achievements, whether they're small or significant. Rather than receiving another cup or pen, Nectar allows you to collect your moments of appreciation and turn them into a gift card of your choice.

I only wish we had more Nectar points per month to give out -- there's so much awesomeness happening at my company, I want to appreciate more!

Finding the time to send a personal email to thank someone or acknowledge their outstanding work can be challenging. Nectar offers a fast and visible way to express appreciation, making it easier to recognize others' efforts.

I love the basis of Nectar. It always warms my heart when I receive a shout-out, and it allows me shout-out my colleagues as well. It goes right to my email, so I always know when I have points to use. The challenges are also a great way to earn perks for things I'm already doing. We use it all the time in our district, and it's very easy to get a hang of things.

I wish there was a wider variety of challenges to complete. I also wish the points we were allotted were a bit more. I'd love to shout-out MORE people, but I only really get 10 points.

Nectar helps me to feel connected with my colleagues. Whether I'm getting or giving a shout-out, I always feel closer when Nectar is used.

It was not easy to change my avatar. Maybe it was me not able to navigate theplatform easily but I do recall it taking longer than necessary.

I appreciate being able to look back at the compliments from colleagues, especially on tough days when I need a boost. It’s comforting to scroll through those kind words and revisit the positive thoughts whenever I’m feeling down.

Honestly, having only 10 points per month to share with colleagues feels insufficient. I really wish we were given more points each month so we could better recognize and reward our coworkers.

I believe this program is being used in my district to help boost morale among colleagues. Initially, I thought the site was pointless and felt it was a waste of my time and energy, almost as if the district was offering a pretend reward. However, after seeing it in action, I’ve come to really appreciate the program. It’s a great way to send positive messages to coworkers, especially if I know they’re having a tough day, or to offer praise after someone’s hard work or a significant achievement. I also love that the points I earn can be redeemed for real gift cards to a wide variety of places.

Nectar is a great resource to recognize my co-workers for their hard work. Sometimes things go unnoticed especially in a larger company. Being able to recognize people who have helped me out with Nectar points is a effortless way make someone else day or week.

The main drawback I’ve noticed with Nectar is that you’re limited to a set number of points to give each month. It would be great if there were an option to add your own points to distribute as well.

Nectar grants me the ability to reward and recognize my co workers for their hard work and their assistance. It also allows me to interact and engage with people that I may not see on a everyday basis.

It also provides an opportunity for staff members to connect, support one another, and collaborate by giving points. Although it is a good program, I found it somewhat difficult to set aside enough time to fully explore everything it has to offer. As a busy educator who is constantly planning, handling paperwork, and teaching students, it just didn’t feel like a top priority. I definitely rely on the email reminders about updates and points to share and redeem.

Nectar has increased my awareness of the staff benefits available to me. I have now signed up for all of them and can appreciate how useful they might be. I find the insurance and financial benefits particularly important.

It's quick, easy, and everyone appreciates the recognition and reward. The platform helps ensure you recognize people and show gratitude regularly as well. Speaking of recognition, the ability to make the shoutout private or public helps when considering whether a team member is not comfortable with public praise. You can still show your appreciation for them without putting it on the public-facing page.

It is a bit confusing when you are first getting used to the platform, or maybe that's just me. Either way, once you figure out what information is required to make the shout-out, it is smooth sailing.

Managers and team members alike get absorbed into the day-to-day and often forget to show how much they value the work that their colleagues are doing. Nectar makes it quick and easy to show gratitude to anyone in the organization and promotes doing so regularly.
