What do you like best about the product?

really easy to use and user-friendly secure and trustable. if you add a security review that connects to the email server and then reviews all emails for PHI to make sure there is no PHI info (without using Virtru) it will be awesome.

What do you dislike about the product?

when you turn on SSO the user management is kinda stupid so if you can change that, it will be awesome. adding to a Google group and then syncing the servers then review the user status is too much

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

our PHI security using Virtru make our life easier to pass HiTrust certification and make sure our auditors are happy and pass our audit. for email security Virtru is the best

What do you like best about the product?

Everyone in our agency uses Virtru to send sensitive material back and forth. Very easy to use. Original Virtru emails cannot be forwarded to anyone, which is a security plus for us!

What do you dislike about the product?

If you send Virtru to someone outside the agency, that person needs to install Virtru in order to view it.

Glitches- causing email to stop working at times. Deletion of emails once wirtten out and having to start email over again.

It is hard to use on a mobile device and sometimes it stops working on my desktop and I have to refresh.

Convenient! I use Virtru every day to keep our customer's information safe. Nice sending off an email with peace of mind.

I currently have no dislikes about Virtru. Everything has been running pretty smoothly for me.

Providing convenience and keeping our customer's information protected.

Without any additional App, you can secure your Email using Virtru Email Protection Extension, and I loved using the same. I would highly recommend Virtru Email Protection.

What do you dislike about the product?

I have loved using Virtru Email Protection, but the thing I don't like is sometime Draft Email you can't reopen the same after closing the Draft Email and sometimes it bounces back also.

Securing Email and Client information in the enclosed PDF is the Problem that has been solved by using Virtru Email Protection, Thanks to Virtru Email Protection

Not everyone can open the doucment, especially banks

Sending documents securely is much faster and requries very little effort.

The functions are easily accessible and formatted efficiently.

Sometimes, messages that do not need to be encrypted are sent in that fashion without an option to disable it (Virtru could easily enable a pop-up window to appear that requires you to confirm that you would like to send it with encryption turned off). There are occasions when encrypted messages do not send. I either wait for an extended period of time for an encrypted message to send, find a message that I thought had sent in my drafts, or I restart Outlook and try again. The arrangement to encrypt previous messages in an email chain does not provide ease for the included parties to confirm earlier discussion/details without going back through their inbox and finding the original message. I am not sure that there is a workaround for this that is HIPAA compliant but it would be nice.

Virtru is allowing me to send PHI about participants in stated Medicaid Home and Community-Based waivers virtually and to perform my job functions on a daily basis.

Sometimes it uninstalls without my knowledge

It is free and works well for us and many end users.

The inbox does not show you the full email detail and you cannot search for details within the secure email in the Virtu inbox.

The plugin for chrome tends to disappear a good bit, leaving us to have to turn off the plugin and back on for it to work again.

Google Drive connector could operate better. Seems to slow down users when right-clicking on files and folders

Google Drive connector often slows down user experience within drive.google.com.

Easy to use when installed. Easy to open for recipients.

Sometimes difficult to find and add to users email. Often disappears and has to be re-loaded

Using virtru we can send patient data to patients and others that do not have secure direct messaging and not worry about PHI.

It makes it easy to protect HIPAA information from inadvertent disclosure by automatically encrypting messages with HIPAA information. Of course if the information is not truly HIPAA then you can easily switch off the encryption.

Can't really think of anything. It used to be difficult to set it up but it has recently become fairly easy.

Virtru is a very user-friendly way to simply encrypt emails coming from Gmail. It as simple as installing the extension and activating your account.

Thus far I have not ran into any issues with Virtru.

I love that it is built into our google workspace and automatically provides feedback if it detects that it is something that might need encryption. The features to add time limits is also appreciated.

I wish I didn't have to contact a representative to add licenses. We are a growing company; sometimes, we just need to get someone added quickly. That being said, our rep has typically been pretty quick to get the request fulfilled, but I would like to be able to do it myself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Virtru is allowing our company to be hippa compliant in a seemless way. We don't have to leave our email client to be able to send encrypted messages. It is also helping new employees be aware of when they need to send something encrypted in order to follow hippa guidelines.

is secure and easy for patients to navigate.

no complaints the program work very good
