What do you like best about the product?

I enjoy how easy it is to request and receive documents in return. I use it every day in my work life, and it was very easy to set up and use even for people unfamiliar with the product.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would love if there was an option to BCC requests so if bulk requests are being sent, not everyone is able to see the documents shared.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

In day to day work, we are constantly requesting personal information and confidential documents, and this program provides peace of mind for all of our employees to ensure their documents are safe and secure.

I like that it protects me from maliscious intent

It's hard to open on phone through the gmail app

What I most disliked about Virtru Email Encryption include its potentially complex user interface, which can be frustrating for both senders and recipients, occasional lagging or non-functionality, and the relatively high cost compared to other email encryption services, leading to some users considering it overpriced for their needs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Virtru Email Encryption primarily solves the problem of securely sharing sensitive information through email by providing end-to-end encryption, allowing users to send and receive encrypted messages and attachments directly within their inbox without requiring recipients to download additional software or create passwords, thus protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access while meeting compliance requirements with ease

What do you like best about the product?

It does not require going to settings and is very straight forward.

What do you dislike about the product?

When using a cell phone to look at emails, it sends you to their website to unlock a message. ( which is due to not having the extension or app on the phone, so that makes sense)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HIPAA compliant emails so it makes it easier to discuss between medical providers and staff

Virtu provides protection against bad actors. It safeguards sensitive information shared files and emails by offering end-to-end encryption.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only thing I dislike about Virtru is sometimes doesn't sync correctly leaving staff members not being able open emails from other employees.

The issue you're facing is a serious one: staff members accidentally sending HIPAA-sensitive information without proper protection. This can lead to data breaches, regulatory violations, and potentially harm to patients or clients. On top of that, there's a growing need for secure, mobile-friendly solutions that allow staff to send protected emails while on the go. I use Virtru Email Encryption daily to maintain client cofidentiality. Its fuctionality is efficient and user-friendly. It was easy to install.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sending encrypted email to providers outside of the organization is often slow and difficult on the recieving end. They report being caught in a buffering loop for long periods, even days. Both internally and externally, email attachments often require a second authentification which is time consuming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Virtru helps ensure client confidentiality.

What do you like best about the product?

Quick to use and effective. No complaints from email recipients.

What do you dislike about the product?

The toggle button to turn on/off does not consistently show up to use it when drafting an email. I am constantly having to Remove from Chrome and Add to Chrome to get it to show back up.

It allows me to send patient related information between us as a pharmacy and the long term care facilities we service.

I like that Virtru Email Encryption is easy to use and reliable with not many errors. It's great that I can manage it both as an individual and as part of a team. I find the initial setup overall easy, clear to understand, and quick to process. Also, it ensures that private information remains secure and confidential, supporting the company to stay in compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?

At times Virtru Email Encryption has had malfunctions with accessibility via mobile app, which has caused a disruption in use when not in the office or during remote work. Another issue is the difficulty for outside company individuals when emails must be exchanged outside the scope of our company during collaborations. It would be helpful to make that process smoother and easier for others to interact with Virtru.

You have privacy to send some emails. Great thing to use to send your email to the client.

The member receiving Virtue email sometimes experiences challenges when accessing the encrypted email. I also wish the email was more user friendly when "replying all" to senders.

Email Encryption- Protects patient information via email.

What do you like best about the product?

We send emails to "lay people" who don't have much experience accessing secure documents. Very few have issues accessing the emails we send, and opening the emails doesn't take a lot of time.

Sometimes the virtru button turns off without notification or any activity on my part, so I have to turn it back on.

Ability to send HIPAA information. Ability to send secure emails.

Since the transition with Virtru it has been easy to train staff on sending encrypted emails. We work with a lot of families and school districts and need to make sure that we are keeping their information confidential. The implementation was very easy to do and customer support was available for any questions that we had. We use this platform on a daily basis and was easy to intergrate into our email system.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only issue that we are having is that employees are sending emails through Virtru all the time vs. the emails that are data sensitive. It's a feature that we need to address with our staff to know when they should be selecting to send their email through Virtru.

Virtru is helping us train staff to sending PIR information encrypted vs. just sending it through email. With cyber security on the high rise we need to make sure that we are keeping our clients information as confidential as we can.

Easy to use from my GSuite. Love the integration. Definitely improving over time.

Not perfect as it seems to slow down sometimes. Some clients have a hard time accessing it.

Advanced solution that provides the best in email and file encryption while making it simple for even the most novice of technical users to use and comply. User adoption does not require a lot of work when they quickly recognize their concerns about working-with, sharing, and transmitting student personally identifiable information (PII) is no longer a concern of theirs. Deployment from beginning to end is a less than a minute (can be automatic if the extension is automatically pushed out to the user). Initial user training is also less than a minute. Most gratifying is the recognized return on investment (ROI) is almost immediate. Everyone in today's professional landscape who communicate electronically with digital data sharing will find Virtru to be a truly satisfying security application.

Education pricing can sometimes be a deterant for those who have the least but need it the most.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

K-12 Education works closely with student health and education records; teachers, administrators, and health aides for students who are on a 504 special needs / special education program are handling student data that (by law) must be protected. Student data "at-rest" (stored data) and when "in-transit" (shared data - with parents or state health organizations) must be in a secure (encrypted) state. This would potentially involve school teachers, administrators, nurses, specialists, and other student program supporters. These critical situations must be simple for these users to activate encryption compliance (which is enabled with the simple "click" on a button).

What do you like best about the product?

Virtu is very easy and straight foward to use. It is also easy for the recipient to decrypt.

What do you dislike about the product?

something I have been having an issue is vitru corrupting my network connection mid email, so I have to restart my email all over which is inconvenient. This never used to be a problem.

It makes it very easy to send encrypted emails to protect patient information.

We have a state funding agency who required our company to always communicate with them with encrypted emails and after lengthy homework searching for the best encrypted email solution that's secure and user-friendly, we narrowed down our selections to Virtru as our choice.

It is very easy to integrate this software into your current patient communication. It turned our regular email into a safe, HIPAA-compliant method of speaking with patients. There are great tools such as unsend, retracting information, and a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to organize the office.

Sometimes the service goes out and we have to refresh our browser.

we have to send data to a third party and while the file itself is encrypted with the application, Virtru allows us to add another level of encryption to the file in transit and the key necessary to decrypt it at the application level
