With these workspaces, I can share securely with selected members. If I have 20 different clients that need this service, I can set up 20 workspaces, and those individuals can have direct access to what's in there because they will be the originators of these documents. I am simply a custodian on behalf of my company, so it behooves me to give them access to streamline the process.
Our use case is simple: We need to send stuff to people, ensuring it's encrypted, safe, and only the right people access it. Virtru fits that need and hits the nail on the head.
Our top users are in our legal and compliance teams, who deal constantly with regulators and law firms, resulting in a continuous back-and-forth of encrypted data. We chose Virtru because our primary productivity suite's external sharing controls were inadequate, so we disabled external sharing by default and use Virtru when we need it, to ensure deliberate and conscious sharing.
My experience with Virtru comes from working with legal teams and companies that handle a lot of sensitive data. We needed a solution to share information securely with auditing, and without exposing data. Virtru has always been great and simple for secure file transfer from email, and now we’re exploring its other features.
We've been using Kiteworks to send files, but Kiteworks is very expensive and not very user friendly. We found Virtru, and it's a lot easier to use and half the cost. It has all the same, if not better, security.
For anything containing CJIS or PII, we make sure it's encrypted. Our police department and administration are the two departments with SecureShare licenses, since larger file sharing doesn't work over email.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful is the sense of security I naturally feel when using Secure Share. I’m confident the transmission method would be very difficult to intercept, compromise, or tamper with, and that’s crucial in these uncertain times.

I honestly don’t think there’s any single factor I can point to that would make me say I “dislike” anything.

After being a victim of cybercrime and facing multiple hacking attempts, I believe that addressing data integrity and fidelity is crucial for doing business—especially in my line of work, cybersecurity.

KEEP CHILDREN SAFE WITH VIRTRU
What do you like best about the product?
As a special education teacher, it is imperative that my emails be secure and free from scams and hackers. Student information is processed on a minute-by-minute basis, exposing our students to cyberharm and their personal information. Having Virtru's security relieves some of the stress that comes with confidential work. Other features that set Virtru above competitors include its easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface. I have not used the AI yet, but as I become more familiar with it, I'm sure it will be an asset as well. Other colleagues have used the AI and responded to its intelligent nature. The performance is amazing, and with reasonably affordable pricing, it integrates well into our system of operation. The onboarding and support for this intelligently designed product have been above and beyond on my Richter scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. Haven't had one feature or operation yet that has disgruntled me.

Prior to using Virtru, my emails were not encrypted or secure, putting my students at risk. Now, I can be free of worry and assure my parents that their children are receiving excellent care.

Authorized to me is definitely a stronger position because it says somebody in DoD has given you an ATO and at that point you know that you're golden. If DoD has run all the trap lines and given the thumbs up and they're using it, then you're not going to have any problems with an auditor.
We rely on Zendesk as our primary communication and ticketing system for the organization. We love that Virtru integrates seamlessly and gives us confidence that all of our sensitive communication with members is safe and secure.
